They have selected songs from the Carter Family repertoire, both well known and obscure, that have touched them the most, including 'Meet Me in the Moonlight,' 'Motherless Children,' 'Bye and Bye,' 'Sow 'Em On the Mountain' and 'Don't Forget This Song.' Jody and Kate have infused these songs with their exceptional trademark sound and vocal magic, allowing the listener to hear these gems of American music in a way that is refreshingly new and comfortably familiar at the same time. Long-time friend Larry Hanks adds bass vocals to five tracks and Suzy Thompson brings her lovely voice to 'Dreaming of You Darling.'
